- Biography：Dr. Anahid (Ana) Basiri is a Professor in Geospatial Data Science, a UK Research and Innovation Future Leaders Fellow, the Director of the Centre for Data Science and AI, and the Royal Academy of Engineering’s EngineeringX Champion at the University of Glasgow. Ana leads a team working on developing (theoretical and applied) solutions that consider unavailability and biases in data as useful sources of data to make inferences about the underlying reasons that caused missingness or biases. For this, she collaborates with world-leading academic, government, and industrial partners.
- Presentation : Efforts towards Space-time Embodied Intelligence (STEI)
- Abstract: The development and integration of AI provide new method for application of Navigation and Location Services in field of Intelligent Mobility. Space-time Embodied Intelligence is our current main research direction. The application of world-models is the most concerning issue for users, but data circulation and privacy computing are foundation for achieving high-quality models and operations. Identity and sovereignty of spatiotemporal data must find solutions, we created Spatial Fabric. Application scenario of UAV provides a good environment for Space-time Embodied Intelligence.
